Nobody reading ts but my biggest issue w modern shipping is that ppl just can't say they don't like a ship, no they always need some kind of moral justification why it's a bad ship and rather do mental gymnastics than just saying out their tastes...

People (like some in the comments) who act as if someone is unreasonable for asking friends/family for a ride to/from somewhere is insane to me. I've had COWORKERS offer to take me/pick me up from the airport if I needed it. In fact I think my store manager DID take me once.+

it doesnt fail my notice that when people give art tips to help your drawing or painting get better, ppl take them w/open arms but if u try to give WRITING tips? oh boy, its treated as an insult. & this is 100% cuz many ppl, even many writers, deep down dont see writing as art

like hello some people ARENT just writing "for the love of the game" or "as a hobby"! OR Maybe! Even if it IS a hobby, some people still want to improve! Just like people who draw usually strive to improve!! Why do ppl consistently knock down ppl who try to help writers improve?

OP's post is literally general advice in order to help people who WANT to get better, get better. i've been writing for 20 years. Much of that was fanfic (200 fanfics), but as an *aspiring author* posts about general writing tips have always been helpful. Some ppl WANT THAT.
