@_mctrinh it's amazing what can be accomplished over long time horizons. Still trying to think about the impact of creating software in the blink of an eye

@_mctrinh For real I've started growing quite quickly in the last month but before that 7 months of building in public and 4 years of being a dev building the skills for this

@_mctrinh My 9-5 is a startup. However, the founder started it 10+ years ago, it just started recently gaining traction. Overnight success stories typically have years of blood sweat and tears behind them.

@_mctrinh 10 years of learning from mistakes and experiences. Thousands of sleepless nights. Hundreds of fails. Tens of betrayals. Health issues. And then people say, "You are just lucky."

@_mctrinh there is no overnight success OR underdog story. They have been exposed to industry and wokring their ass off in the shadow for a long time. There is single effort and sudden change.

@_mctrinh Pretty much. People only see the “pop,” not the years of quiet work, doubt, and tiny wins that built the momentum.

@_mctrinh After more than 10 years in business, I don't feel I've had any overnight success. I guess the closest is exiting a business after 2 years for 6 figures.

@_mctrinh So true. Every "overnight" win is built on years of unseen effort, failure, and persistence. The real story is in the grind.
