This is an interview Chessdom published a year ago, where Topalov says, "Kramnik not only did not manage to explain [his behavior] but he simply lied" and goes out to point the irony of Kramnik's further actions. https://t.co/RZJLjj9wsb

@VBkramnik I never said you ruined anyone's life. I asked a question if it is worth it to ruin a young life over a game that they may or may not have cheated? If you feel someone cheated, just report them and move on. Or don't play online.

The question of whether Naroditsky actually cheated become irrelevant after his death. Yet, with several players still targeted by Kramnik as “potential cheaters,” a larger, more pressing question is: just how widespread & real is cheating in chess? My story for @IExpressSports

Human life and dignity are fundamental values shared by all of us. While we hold deep respect and love for the game of chess that unites our community, these values must always come first. In recent times, public debate within the chess world has too often moved beyond the

Cause close to my heart: Child abuse and bullying (both online and offline). Mental and physical trauma inflicted on children is a real problem in places like India. Please support organizations working on this front. Chess has been kind to me financially - don't worry!
@NihalSarin Nihal, do you have a place where we can donate money to you? I want to support your chess career and see you lift the title in the future.

As I go through my second sleepless night, I continue to process my emotions. I didn’t know Danya closely, but his loss feels deeply personal. Danya was a good person and a valued member of the chess family. During this time, @akaNemsko, @NihalSarin, @GMHikaru, and many others

And that is a question that guys like Kramnik can just very conveniently ignore because all they want to do is to.... I don't even know. I cannot process how messed up some of these minds are. 4/4

Now, what I've seen is that Kramnik is filing a lawsuit against Navara. I don't even understand the logic. And also one very sad thing about all this for Naroditsky is that I cannot understand what his motive would be? Why would somebody like Naroditsky cheat? 3/4

Navarra has had some psychological issues for a long time, actually, and he has even mentioned that these accusations made him feel suicidal. He has been struggling for a long time with such issues, and he wrote to FIDE asking for some sanctions against Kramnik. 2/4

#NihalSarin on #DavidNavara David Navara is one of the nicest guy in chess. He's a very, very good guy. I've played him a few times. I've interacted with him. He's an absolutely great guy. Kramnik is after him for God knows what. 1/4

In the wake of the tragedy, one of Kramnik's quietest targets is speaking out. Nihal Sarin, who is usually shy and reserved, has broken his silence, sharing his grief for his friend "Danya," his fears for David Navara, and his thoughts on Kramnik's actions.

Could Vladimir Kramnik's baseless accusations and his never-ending campaign against Daniel Naroditsky be an indirect reason for what happened to the 29-year-old American? Nihal Sarin speaks. Page 1 story for The Indian Express.

I’ve been quiet because I didn’t know how to put this into words. I heard the news about Danya early yesterday morning, and I still can’t believe he’s gone. I’ve known Danya since we were kids. We became real friends in college, and over the years I had the privilege of working
