engineering & product leader. working on startup #2
chicago
Joined April 2012
most of my successes were far less about working harder and more about seeing the problem differently. the hard work was ultimately a by-product of passion. shift your perspective, and you might just find the solution is closer than you realized.

one thing I wish someone told me earlier: your “capacity to think” isn’t fixed. it expands or contracts based on the diversity of problems you expose yourself to. you level up faster with more inputs. if you only consume what’s familiar, you’ll only create what’s predictable.

lately i've been realizing the real bottleneck isn't motivation, it's input quality. i've been shifting from doom scrolling to intentionally finding high-signal ideas, and my entire brain is changing gears. maybe momentum isn't a mindset thing, but an environment thing.

failure stopped bother me when i realized it wasn’t personal. it was just my system showing me where i’m underexposed.

why are there still so few grants program for creators? creators are the perfect evangelists for protocols and apps and can drive gtm in ways that devs simply cannot and you need an effective gtm strategy to make it so i'm just confused why there is this missing piece still
