Companies are asking for so much out of video shooters I have to mash all different types of videos into 1 reel.

When the film played at Queens World Film Festival so many people asked if these were "underground" artists and I never thought of them like that. They were just great songs that people needed to hear. Hoping to have a music supervisor on the next film to handle legal tho!!.

The chase scene song was from a royalty free music site. I really wanted a DnB feel for the chase scene and couldn't find anything to fit from Queens artists - obviously the pool isn't really large. The credits song was from Yogi Beretta but not found on streaming.

.@MeyhemLauren -G Talk. Meyhem's crew was legendary in Queens growing up. I still think they need a documentary. G Talk is also criminally underrated and was the perfect choice for this transitional scene.

.@THERAVADA - ft. Awhlee I Keep Having Visions. When I first heard this song it had a great nostalgic feeling and knew it would fit perfectly during a montage to show off Flushing Main Street.

.@NIGELTHREETIMES - R.A.V.E.R. More WF alum. I was doing everything I could to use maybe 2 of Nigel's songs because I couldn't find any Queens artists that were doing electronic/DnB for the chase scene. Only used 1 and people loved it:.

.@actionbronson's Barry Horowitz was the quintessential Flushing song. We obviously needed something Action being that the film takes place in Flushing. This was the first Bronson joint I ever heard.

.@lanskyjones another WF artist who's song Rich Bitch Lullaby was the perfect song for the scene. I really pushed my audio engineer to try to hear as much of the song as possible during the conversation and it wasn't perfect but we got it.

.@RemyBanks - n1go was the first joint. The intro to this song was always crazy and should be used in way more tv shows in my opinion.

A lot of people have reached out about the soundtrack on the flushing short film which feels great. I tried to get only Queen's artists and songs that I thought didn't have nearly enough shine. Quick thread:.
