Prayers aren't just words. They're a call to align our hearts with love, peace, & action. Turning away from faith leaves us vulnerable, & these tragedies are a reflection of that vulnerability. Jen's rhetoric doesn't help find solutions or comfort communities & families who are.
Prayer is not freaking enough. Prayers does not end school shootings. prayers do not make parents feel safe sending their kids to school. Prayer does not bring these kids back. Enough with the thoughts and prayers.

.@AmericanAir you’ve done it again. I will always be an American loyalist. My flight from Destin-Ft. Walton to DCA was oversold with 4 of 8 first class seats broken leaving me seatless as they couldn’t move me to a different seat. They immediately rebooked me on a flight.
