Zoning to the South? Yes. But handing the ADC ticket to Peter Obi? Absolutely not. Let’s not confuse noise with strategy. The Obidient movement may be loud online, but elections aren’t won on Twitter. @PeterObi had his shot in 2023, with all the “momentum”, and still couldn’t.

No matter how you explain these things to Obidients, they won’t understand it. Tactics and strategies are not their things.

If you ask me, I would say that the ADC would be better off without @PeterObi. Right now, any candidate they present who is not Peter Obi would be rejected by his Igbo-wing supporters, popularly known as the Obidients. They would drag and harass the ADC candidate relentlessly.

Two years ago, these emergency lovers of Nigeria forced their way into Labour Party, disgraced and beat up the people that toiled to sustain the party for years. Today, they have moved to another party, with the same modus operandi. Ori Baba Lamidi Apapa ma ba gbogbo yin ja one

Governors alone does not win a national election. Goodluck Jonathan had the support of 23 Governors and still lost the 2015 presidential election.

Tinubu is trending but I don’t know why Atiku, Peter Obi, Amaechi and Coalition are trending but if the captains of your rescue ship are the same ones who sank your last boat, you’re better off swimming. When the house is on fire, you don’t run into the arms of the arsonists.
