Not all Airbnbs are locally owned and operated. However I do see where @Airbnb did put out a release regarding assisting those who are impacted by the storm. Issue is, I doubt many of them would even have access to that information due to the lack of telecoms in the area.
Someone had a great idea to support the people in Westmoreland. Find @Airbnb’s in that area. Book out November and let the host know you won’t be checking in, but they’re to keep the money and use it in the community or their home. Money flowing in will help the wider area.
