Decades ago people used to travel to Addu for health care and education. People migrate for basic services and needs. If these services are available outside Malé, people will migrate. But obviously the poor little landlords of Malé will suffer.
need to find out the real reasons o.O. i do suspect one important one is that the other "cities" are actually quite homogeneous inclined; non-addu families would find it hard to integrate in addu for eg.

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s amendment does nothing to cut off offensive aid to Israel nor end the flow of US munitions being used in Gaza. Of course I voted against it. What it does do is cut off defensive Iron Dome capacities while allowing the actual bombs killing Palestinians to.
