And I could go on about lore stuff but even essentially, catti is the perfect foil to Susie’s character, especially where she’s left off by ch4, and with Noelle seeming to be very important in ch5 I feel catti getting in the way of both of them is exactly what’s being built up-

Which would totally explain the dichotomy of friend and the fated legend existing as opposites (the tale must be followed/the tail mustn’t) Also explains why catti never went to church with jock and the rest of her family, religion and occultism are also opposites in that sense

Also another thing about C.Petters RPG, with that game being based off DB means it’s also a part of the prophecy pipeline, at the very end of it, meaning it’s the most detached to the real thing So if the friend connections ring true, cat petters is like the Anti Prophecy
