Diddy News: The Judge hasn’t ruled whether or not to grant Combs a new trial that’ll happen at a later time but it seems like sentencing will go forward next week on October 3 but no time has been set yet. (But you never know a major ruling could upend that) @lawandcrimenetwork

The judge decided to keep Sean Combs behind bars pending his sentencing which for now is set for Oct 3, 2025 but it could be sooner as the defense is pushing for an expedited sentencing. A hearing on that matter is set for Tuesday July 8th @LawCrimeNetwork

The courthouse officers are asking people on the side of the courthouse to go behind the barricade likely bc of the commotion after Combs’ verdict and people celebrating. I even heard some say people were pouring baby oil @LawCrimeNetwork

Both sides will return to court later this afternoon for arguments as to if Sean Combs will be released pending sentencing. The govt wants him to stay put at MDC Brooklyn but the defense wants him released and are proposing he be let go on a $1 million bail. @LawCrimeNetwork

Still no note from the jury since this morning so these jurors are hard at work. The jurors earlier had questions about Cassie’s testimony in relation to the events at Canne and what followed, the Intercontinental Hotel & the interactions with Daniel Phillip (one of the escorts)

Today the Judge in Diddy’s trial said: “This is the most people I’ve ever seen at a charge conference” (lol) I knew there would be a lot of media interest in the charge conference but the public seems super interested in it too. Court picks up at 3:45p EST @LawCrimeNetwork

The defense also rested their case with no witnesses called to testify instead they read text exhibits and stipulations. So what’s next?: charge conference on Wednesday and Thursday/Friday closing arguments…the govt thinks the jury might not start deliberations until Monday
