My Saturday Selection is this 2019 @caraccioliwines brut rosé from their Escolle Vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands. This is a blend of chardonnay and pinot noir that shows a nose of nectarine, red apple and kiwi with tastes of peaches, citrus peel and cherries. Cheers.

#PizzaFriday with a cheese pie paired with a 2022 Private Property pinot noir from the Santa Lucia Highlands.This is showing a nose of raspberry, hibiscus and orange peel with a palate full of Santa Rosa plum, sage and nutmeg. Enjoy your weekend.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone, Celebrating with a 2023 Grape Culture Napa pinot noir from the Roberts Road Vineyard. There are aromas of orange peel, raspberry and graphite with full rounded flavors of black tea, pomegranate, clove and ripe red cherry. Definitely a winner!

My #WineWednesday choice is this 2023 Darling “Den Chosta” syrah from the Sonoma Coast. This is displaying aromas of black raspberry, black olive and light pepper with tastes of black plum, black tea and anise. Getting ready for the feast tomorrow.

Taco Tuesday with this 2013 @tercerowines Mourvèdre from Santa Barbara County. This one is hanging tough with a nose of black cherry, damp soil and mint chocolate with tastes of blackberry, tobacco and light pepper. Go visit Larry next time your are in Los Olivos.

Starting off Thanksgiving Week with a 2019 @PeakeRanchWines syrah from the Sta Rita Hills. This beauty is Côte-Rôtie like with a nose of dark raspberry, violets and smoked meat with a palette of blueberry, leather and clove. Found this one at @klwines in Redwood City. Cheers

#PizzaFriday with this 2018 Caparzo Brunello di Montalcino. There are aromas of black cherry, orange peel and leather with a palette of blueberry, rose petals and creamy dark chocolate. I’ve had an Italian wine lesson recently so expect to see more like this one. Happy Weekend.
