6 months ago, @taiuti and I made a bet. World models are the next platform shift, and we saw it coming. Since then, we've assembled a team from Apple, Meta, Google, Adobe & Microsoft and raised from top-tier investors. Come build with us: https://t.co/G0gVgnVNAe

Big update: I’m starting a new company. 6 months ago, @_bschmidtchen and I made a bet. What if entire worlds could be generated on the fly, pixel by pixel? World models are the next platform shift, and we saw it coming. Since then, we’ve: - secured major contracts across media

multi-player world models are here
We built a real-time multiplayer game generated entirely by a neural network. MultiGen is a real-time multiplayer diffusion game engine that supports an arbitrary number of players (not just 2!) through a shared memory-based world model. Project website: https://t.co/awuiMDIMCZ

GitHub is atrocious, we've switched to @graphite and it's been an absolute pleasure so far
OpenAI is developing an alternative to Microsoft's popular code repository GitHub after dealing with outages in recent months. The repo will be internal for now, but staffers have discussed potentially selling it to customers. w/ @aaronpholmes

There are a few sayings you hear a lot, but you really only understand with a lot of time: "what would you do if you knew you couldn't fail" or the famous: "the only thing we have to fear is fear itself"

before you know it, we're going to have shared generative worlds we can all play within
📢Current world models aren't really modeling the world; they're modeling one agent's view of it. Partial observations ≠ world state. Future world models will be independent of any one agent's perspective. You will be able to “drop in” any number of agents at any point in time,

Market Street feels the best it has in maybe all the time I’ve been in SF Can we just pretend like we’re having the Super Bowl here all the time?

responding to a competitor’s superbowl ad is unbelievingly lame
First, the good part of the Anthropic ads: they are funny, and I laughed. But I wonder why Anthropic would go for something so clearly dishonest. Our most important principle for ads says that we won’t do exactly this; we would obviously never run ads in the way Anthropic
