When I made baby Naoya in Animal Crossing I made sure to take him to pretty places, make him water the garden, sit next to the river, etc... I also took pictures of him and made him smile and it gave me so much nostalgia that came out of nowhere.

People are right to be mad that Naoya lost his cute/sassy attitude in this scene. But I also loathe the fact they drew Naoya holding Ogis hand, blocking the attack when in the manga he never did that! It shows that Naoya knows his uncle wont harm him! It's subtle characterization
For being raised in a traditional house he surely has no respect for his elders at all, his contrasts are so on point

Naoya's witty comments made you giggle more than once, he made them thoughtlessly. He turned his head so fast that you swore you heard a crack. That laugh of yours...gets him every time. His cheeks bloomed red, because he did that. He made you laugh so sweetly, only for him.
