pictures are a little hard to find of what a accident recovery train usually looked like in the 1950’s-1960’s, so it’s a bit of an estimate… . For now, my completed stand in for the So20 type crane. Pictures of this are a bit hard to find (i was only able to find 5 pictures…)

Was out traveling again, took these 2 pics for weathering reference. subject is a c.1880’s built Barn, Dickerman Ranch, Año Nuevo State Park. It had been constructed from lumber salvaged from the then nearby Waddell Wharf.

I didn’t like how high the GM kits sat, so i took apart my Naha10 and scraped off the original floor mount lip. I raised it using square bar styrene, trimming some bits of the divider walls to fit. It looks much better now… i should do this on my other GM kits…
