Before entering the transfer portal in October, former Virginia Tech safety Christian Ellis was ON FIRE for the Hokies’. Since then, he’s taken visits to both Virginia and Charlotte. While at New Mexico in 2024, Ellis led the Lobos with 99 total tackles.

Just give us standard contracts. Not where you have to sign with an NIL outfit. This isn’t hard. It’s like to sports without regulation and contracts. This change benefits both sides. And fans can know with some expectation what to expect with their program.

Haven’t read this yet. Todd Fitch inked a 3 year deal with Charlotte as the OC. Approximately 600k for Charlotte fire him. All other assistants (3 if memory serves) on deals were just 2 years.
