And to dial the controversy a notch; .most of those businesses don’t need a logo or brand. Because at that level, they really don’t know what brand means. Their primary goal at that level should be having consistent cashflow and sales. Period.
I do not design logos for WhatsApp vendors (e.g Arike Preorder), I know some of you will come for me, but I know my target audience and WhatsApp vendors ain’t one. I have my reasons, 80% want cheap design and I’m not cheap.

If it’s a company you really want to work with or a company you’ve identified you can add value to. Do the work upfront, a good portion of the work that a designer would charge money for and send it to them, with your intention. Say👇🏾.

My contribution: .Sending proposals take too much time from you, and even if you say “i already have templates” it’s still effort that would have been channeled elsewhere. So this is how i would do it. Short thread🧵.
I have a different opinion. You shouldn’t be sending proposals. There’s a 25% chance you close a deal after sending a proposal. Those ARE NOT good odds. Of course it won’t work for enterprise and large government contracts…but for a creative freelancer? Stop sending.

It’s a bit of a stretch to call it a direct competition. Pepsico is big on their own really. The acquisition is two fold, she benefits in a huge exit deal(or whatever the structure is) and pepsi adds another great product to their plethora of products. .
@egbokavictory_ Just seeing this but why is my mind telling me Pepsi bought Poppi to erase direct competition?. Well the woman gained on two front. Billions of USD and she can still make the drink personally (only).
