Correct. In fact, Igbo societies practice polygamy more than any other region. As for religion (christianity in particular), I still wonder the reason for the deletion of the provision. Help tell if you do know.
@____msg Polygamy existed in excess in ancient Igbo Culture, my grandad had 6 wives. Everything changed with religion and modernity.
