Social media is all about bringing people together. The lesson we should learn from social media is that sometimes people are better off staying the fuck away from one another.
bring back forums for people with thoughts (however dull or annoying) and fan clubs for the nutters. this may "do a bodyslam" on the practice of people discussing professional wrestling on social media, where these groups feel the need to hopelessly interact with each other

A lot of people have been shit talking Rich from @voiceswrestling this week over his piece on Sid. A lot of it is bad faith, and the rest is people with poor media literacy. He just spent about 2 hours breaking down the man's career...because he has so much love for the guy.

If modern pro wrestling is hell bent on going "spooky", I wish it would take more inspiration from Kevin Sullivan. He brought that evil/horror movie energy in a real world way that worked perfectly in pro wrestling. He worked so much out of the "Satanic Panic" of the 80s.

#ToukonRetsudenDidYouKnow To reduce anti-climatic finishes, in TR2 they introduced a "Submission Chance Percentage" for each submission move (assuming limb HP is at 0). For moves like sleepers, this percentage is 0%. There are character-specific exceptions - see video for these.

I've seen lots of funny stories about Chuck Taylor doing and saying funny things. I'm not surprised by that. He's a funny dude. He's also incredibly knowledgeable about how to get the right response in pro wrestling. He'd be an incredible asset on the creative side of things,imo.
Fightful: Chuck Taylor has been training as a coach/producer for months in AEW. There are no plans for Chuck Taylor to wrestle again at the moment, as he was well aware of the extent of his injuries.

This is a situation where AI could be used as a tool to do something a human can't do rather than AI doing something a human could have done. How cool would it be to have Heenan and Gorilla or Gordon Solie (w/ the family's blessing) on commentary in an old school wrestling game?
A.I. driving commentary is going to be the future for sports games. I'm calling it now! 🤓 My guess is we will see it in NBA or Madden first. We have been experimenting with some ideas along with text to speech a.i generation for creation suites and entrances.
