Another useful setup: platform shield-punish. For a long time I've really struggled to get K Rool off of platforms; it's felt like I couldn't do anything because he could just land with a safe aerial and then stay in shield 'till he can get off. Not anymore. 100% true shieldpoke.

Ledgetrapping setup vs K Rool (ledgeslip). The point isn't the punishes necessarily, but moreso the threat - you can get an unreactable kill-confirm if they wait too long, forcing them off ledge. That's good enough tbh, his ledgehang has been a thorn in my side for forever.
