I’m not Farage supporter but how is buying a house in your wife’s name rather than your own name dodging tax? Any reasonable person would do this and it’s perfectly within the law.
So @Nigel_Farage didn’t buy the Clacton house after all… turns out it was in his partner’s name. Why? Because if he’d bought it himself, he’d have been stung with an extra £44,000 stamp duty bill 💸. Funny how the man who rages about “ordinary Brits paying their fair share”

for a lot of people the prospect of becoming financially free or rich is so distant that they see their financial decisions as inconsequential. Sacrifice £700 a month for 3 years which still may not be enough for a house or get a CLA today. I get why the latter is appealing.
Them hefty £700 a month Mercedes CLA payments are really killing off the younger gen. Cool attention from women goes up for a bit but it’s all superficial… . wealth > validation. Build first, flex later.
