This is more a note to self than anything. Somehow, being an organizer is easier than attending. You know what's going on at all times, and what to expect. P.S: Grab merch if you can!

4. More on networking. It's time to reach out to those numbers you collected. Helps to move things along if you can remember random facts about people you meet and include them in that first "cold" message. Where they're based, issues locating the venue, favorite speaker, etc.

3. Take pictures! Unless the organizers are conscious of it, there's usually no designated time for taking pics. So take them whenever you can. 2 weeks after the event, you'll need them, to relive the moment (and as proof-of-life).

2. Sit close to exits, you'll see more people (getting them to see you is a different matter tho π) The only down-side to this is, you might be a bit far off from the stage. Real action is never on the stage imo. Networking >>>>

Tips for the Introverted Tech Bro when attending IRL Events: 1. Conversation starters. My personal favorites are, "Hi, I am XYZ", or "Your face looks really familiar, perhaps I know you online". I prefer the second option because it encourages the other person to speak more.

Sneak pic into today's workshop on @eigenlayer by @dabit3 and the @AtriumAcademy team. Sometimes you dream about things that might be possible with today's tech, only to discover someone has taken out the time to build it all already. EVM-Verifiable AI is already possible!

Possible morale of the story would be "People are the best bridges". Yes, I do need to take a break from writing code.
Random idea for a dystopian web3 future: Fiat economy finally fails. Natural resources are depleted, which means electricity is scare and only available at remote power stations. DeFi has triumphed, but adoption is split across a number of chains.

So chains/protocol leads want control of these machines, to serve their own chain. Each "power-station" is essentially a warfront. Who are our protagonists? Dissenters that invented "promise notes", for exchanging goods, without being monitored by the chain overlords.

Each chain is literally fighting to be the dominant chain. The focus is not the tech, but the ability to shape regulations and protocols. But fighting for what exactly? Electricity is scarce, so there are few computers powerful enough to be validators (imagine only 1/continent).

Sometimes it's not about learning something new. Seeing someone who's shipped, you're like, I can do this too. Energized!. Less talk, more work. Like @DevUsoroh said, nobody gives a (*insert random expletive) about what tech you use to build. Just build and ship!

Excited about @molecularfinance revolutionizing DeFi, letting users provide insurance liquidity to protect protocols while earning yields. DeFi capital efficiency === safer, smarter finance.
We don't "cook" yield, we let farmers signal the price of borrowing on Molecular Protocol. As of today, the signal is still strong on $USDC and other stablecoins. Don't miss out on the momentum that is closing any minute now. #Yield
