@_TheFix This is so beautifully put. I’ve shared this with my uncle who just opened up with a whole family about his struggle he’s had his whole life. And he’s in his 50s. But he’s embarrassed and scared we will all things differently of him. Never will happen

I had to substitute other things that made me feel good for the way alcohol used to make me feel good. Simply eliminating the drink left a vacuum. And the vacuum needed to be filled with other things that made me feel good.
