What a weird day. I’m in the ER in my NASCROCS listening to the interviews of the Champ 4 ahead of the NASCAR Awards. Continuing to see the fallout from this weekend and how the sport we love is just in crisis … just disappointed. Excited and hopeful for change in 2026.

Here is #NASCAR’s official statement on this ruling:
The judge said b/c NASCAR's counterclaim identified the market as "the market for entry of cars into NASCAR Cup Series races in the United States and any other location where a Cup Series race is held" that NASCAR couldn't say that's not the market for the 23XI/FRM allegations.

Even more urgency for NASCAR to find a way to settle the case after this ruling today. This means NASCAR cannot tell the jury the teams could just go to IndyCar or F1 if they didn’t like the terms. The jury will decide if NASCAR is a monopoly in this much narrower marketplace.
Big 23XI / Front Row win today -- Judge Bell has granted summary judgment on market definition of "premier stock-car racing" and that NASCAR has power in that market -- trial will be focused on whether NASCAR unlawfully exercised its power in that market.
