Folk don’t always come into your life because you prayed for it. Sometimes they enter your life because you are the answer to their prayers. Never take for granted your opportunity to be a blessing to someone else .

Every child is showing up daily, with their brain and their heart. It is our job to stimulate their mind and pour love into their spirit. What impact are you having?

“I can’t ask them to stand up for themselves if I’m sitting down”. As educators, think about what you’re encouraging our youth to do. Are you brave enough to do it too? Be the example they need to see, everyday, on how the change the world.

In order to be brave enough to take risk to create transformative change… you have to be brave enough to fail and confident enough in your strength to get back up and try again if you do fail.

“Teaching without love is just talking”- Do your students see and feel your passion and your love when you show up in front of them?

“We’ve gotten so use to things being the way they are that we forget to ask, do they have to be that way?”- Ask yourself …are you part of the problem or the solution?

And when you pray tonight..pray for the new season. May this new season bring blessings and restoration. Whatever that was lost must be restored and multiplied. Let your life be a testimony of God’s power, love, mercy and grace.

“At what point is the non-success of a child acceptable”. My mindset for the school year will be focused on this quote. Take action and make a difference, because your favorite student and least favorite student deserve it!

Challenge yourselves to not only listen to the dreams of our youth but invest in their futures as well. Knowing their goals is step one. Helping them reach those goals is another level commitment to change. Listening is comforting, action is life changing.

Stop letting folk abuse your purpose. If they can’t see the light you’ve been blessed with and don’t allow you to operate within your values they won’t utilize your gifts appropriately. Know your worth!

Dream BIG and believe in yourself. Move forward with confidence! A little joy to brighten your day ❤️

And when you pray tonight…pray for the blessing of having honest people around you. Please understand that you wont always be right or know it all. Having people who are able to call you out and correct you, will contribute towards becoming the best version of yourself.

“Jealousy can hide in compliments…” and hatred can hide in support. Pay attention to how folk move. Everybody isn’t operating in truth or in love. Not everybody shares the same “why” as you.

Having the strength to do right by people who purposefully do wrong by you is a different type of blessing to live by. I pray all of you are brave enough to pour love into folk, without expecting anything in return.

Folk recognize your greatness and your purpose and some are just going to hate. “They know you’re headed to heaven and they can’t stop that so they want to give you hell on your way”. Don’t let the devil discourage you on your journey! Be #blessed
