There are several key moments to drive progress on the horizon, including the UN meetings on NCDs & Mental Health and UHC Day. By sharing and amplifying our stories, we can show up as a united movement, keep health costs on the global agenda, and push leaders to act now.

It’s past time for decision-makers to invest in health for all and to protect people, particularly the most vulnerable, from the devastating impact of impoverishing health costs. The best way to do this is by going beyond the data and sharing real stories.

In the current global context of overlapping crises, injustice, and instability, the need to protect communities and invest in their resilience is more urgent than ever.

Students are delaying or skipping care because it’s too expensive, a single mother falling into debt after a hospital visit, health workers watching patients suffer because treatment is unaffordable or families forced to choose between paying for care or putting food on the table

We know the statistics: 2 billion people experience financial hardship due to health expenses. Among them, 1.3 billion are pushed into poverty. #HealthCostsHurt #UHC2030 #CSEM #Health #UHC
