- Go to the hospital to get tested and vaccinated against Hepatitis (especially for your child who would go out and mingle with other kids who you dunno where they are coming from).- Use of condoms, be faithful to your partner or be like me, avoid sexual intercourse totally 😎.

I can tell you for free that more people are infected with Hepatitis (Hepatitis B mostly) than even HIV. So how do we prevent this Hepatitis infection?.- Properly cooking your food and be mindful of your food source.

My final year project in school was centred around Transfusion transmissible infections of which HIV and Hepatitis B and C is part of it and based on the statistics I gathered from UBTH,.

HIV. It's crazy how the average man on the street in Nigeria has never heard of Hepatitis but someone like Wasiu the bus conductor can easily give a little he knows about HIV. The effort that the government uses to educate the masses on HIV should also be put in educating people.

Hepatitis has no cure! However, if it is detected on time, it can be treated and managed properly. In some cases, the body is able to fight off this virus and build resistance to it. I always tell whoever cares to listen that I'm more scared of Hepatitis infection even more than.

Hepatitis virus is so virulent as the virus can stay on surfaces for days or weeks and when it comes in contact with a broken skin or injury, it can easily affect the body.

I personally don't care about which is more infectious, I just don't want myself or anyone to be infected by any of them because the functionality of the liver is way too precious to be toyed with.

Hepatitis B, C and D can be gotten from mother to child, transfusion from infected blood, bodily fluid (seminal or vaginal fluid, saliva), unprotected sex. Though some schools of thought would say Hep-B is more infectious than Hep-C,.

that's the way which this disease can easily pass from this infected person to food. That's why is vital for you to watch where and who you get your food from and also wash and prepare your meal well before consumption.

We have 5 types of Hepatitis (A, B, C, D, E). Hepatitis A and E are mostly gotten via ingesting of contaminated food. Most times, when an infected person passes out faeces and does not properly wash his hands,.

As we can see, Hepatitis is a very dangerous disease because it starts it's destruction from the hepatic cells and when the function unit of an organ it damaged, its only a matter of time before the inevitable happens.

The liver cells are greatly damaged which will result to excessive scarring, liver cirrhosis and eventually liver failure.

Hepatitis on the other hand, is a disease that directly affects the liver and drastically inflames the liver. The various functions of the kidney, as earlier stated, are highly impaired, even the generative ability of the liver too.

As you can see, the liver is a very powerful and unique organ which should always be taken care of because its functions and ability to regenerate even after damage or removal in the cause of transplant cannot be overemphasised.

The liver is able to take the same punch, which damages the brain, gets scarred or injured; the liver regenerates or repairs itself and still comes back to normal as though nothing happened.

In that same boxing, there is a term called Liver Shot, which is a perfectly placed punch (left hook in most cases) on or just below the diaphragm. This is a killer move which is definitely bound to bring your opponent down in most cases as you are punching the liver directly.

Such force directed to the head can cause permanent damage to the brain. This is why you hear of some boxers becoming disabled after some matches.

Let me explain this special ability of the liver using boxing. Boxing is a physically intense contact sport and someone like Mike Tyson could punch a force of 500 Newton in his days which is equivalent to 50kg (Weight of a bag of rice or A bag of cement).
