Mixing up the batter

This week's recipe is banana bread. Made with flour, sugar, egg, grapeseed oil, agave nectar, baking soda, salt, coriander, cinnamon, nutmeg, and chopped walnuts. Served with a cup of coffee. Very tasty! 😋

I had the great pleasure of attending a show taping earlier this year. Loved the experience, getting to see how the show came together, and stuff that was filmed but didn't make it to air. The staff was organized and respectful. They have a great operation.

I am, quite simply, gutted. This has been my favorite late night show, and one of my favorite shows period, for years. I looked forward to getting Colbert's take on current events every night. I love his comedic take on topics and his steady voice to help make sense of things.

Here are the recipes for both types of toast.

This week's recipe is two types of savory toast. One is made with cherry tomatoes, onions, avocado oil, garlic, sherry vinegar, salt & pepper. The other is made with mushrooms, garlic, avocado oil, garlic, herbs, yogurt, and lemon juice. Both on rye toast. Both were delicious!
