Brookside is such a special place.I'm honoured I get to work with the wonderful staff and see the great things they do for students day in,day out. Now I get to do it in the day job too with a unit in BoS. Looking forward to summer,but excited for Sep too!.

Had a lovely day meeting some equally lovely people, talking & learning all about recruitment & leadership in our church schools. Then a wander in one of my very favourite places, I even dodged the rain! Thank you @EducationBW and everyone else who attended for sharing you ideas!

Had a great time yesterday at @SheptonMPrison learning how to decode messages and lift fingerprints. Then to follow the clues to find out who stole the pancakes. A perfect day out for my wannabe DCI.

Small one is home from gym practice this evening full of beans. At the weekend she did her first ever gym competition, she was sooo nervous, but smashed it and is ready to do it all over again. I, on the other hand, am not so sure I'm ready! They throw her pretty high it seems😳

Very grateful for access to a 24hour GP advice line funded by @_TPLT_ .Phoned for my smallest yesterday, on a Sunday, at 1pm, video appt at 4.12, reassured not to worry by 4.20pm - she didn't have to miss the last week of school,which is what she was most concerned about!👏👏.

Ordered eldest child's food tech ingredients on my food shop. I refuse to buy pre-packaged (at twice the price too) so ordered the smallest qty I could. This is what half a kilo of ginger looks like 🙈😂
