How we give the task to students matters. A screen is better than a handout;a handout is better than a textbook.But verbal is better than both. This finding “freaked us out”. + Giving the task in the 1st 5 minutes to Ss standing up maximises thinking. Loving @pgliljedahl #merga44

Today’s the last day of Teacher Appreciation Week, but I feel appreciative of teachers in general and those I specifically had every day. I’m especially grateful I grew up with teachers who read aloud to me. It was those experiences that introduced me to the magic of story.

We love Wordle for morning meetings. I know this will be a hit in our classroom!!
