Wow! Just tried out new Screen Sharing with @remarkablepaper tablet. Their previous attempt at this was terrible, but this version is amazing!. Very low latency, and it even shows a red pointer when you hold the marker hovering close-but-not-touching to the screen. 😍.

Of all the supermarket deliveries I've used, @Ocado is the WORST at substitutions. They just don't bother most of the time, even when there must have been alternatives, they just give you nothing. Or swap for something half the size and charge you more.

They say we all have a skeleton in the closet. My wife just told me about hers. It was given to her at med school by a doctor friend who no longer needed it. She found it creepy so wanted it hidden, and the wardrobe was the most convenient place.

Great thread. I can totally relate - it makes so much difference to see the people you're talking to. And love the way approach - no policy, just explain the consequences.
So I've been stuck on the camera policy for my Zoom classes. I totally get the worries about student privacy and invasiveness. But I also know that my teaching gets radically worse when I'm facing mostly all black squares. So this time, I tried complete honesty. Report-thread:.

Question to any Christians who take a futurist/premillennial view of the end times - what happens to people who are in space? (on ISS/Moon/Mars/etc). Would they escape 'Tribulation' events like earthquakes and the Sun darkening?. In what direction would those be 'raptured'?.
