A) comparing the physical capabilities of a Hall of Famer to a guy who debuted at 28 YO lol. B) Smoltz had 10.5 seasons as an MLB starter with 356 career starts and 4 ASGs before 2000. Grant Holmes had 121 career starts and 3 seasons as a full time starter before this year.
From 2001-2004. John Smoltz: 5 starts in 4 full seasons. I guess Bobby Cox and John Scherholtz were idiots for letting him start games starting in 2005.
