¦¦ Second update: 1. Added some new ideas and concepts. 2. Wrote the first ad for a procedure important to the story, made by a company which plays a prominent role in the lore. 👍

¦¦ First update: Already wrote about 3 pages of: 1. General ideas and 2. Rules of the world and storytelling today. I really made a lot of progress in just one day. If I can keep this up, the first actual story in my world may come out sooner than expected!

¦¦ Some of you told me again and again, that when I'm so unhappy with how RWBY is written and how the characters are handled, I should just write my own story. Guess what? I just began doing exactly that! I'm currently in the world building phase. Stay tuned for updates!

— 2. If she's able to force her to use the power on something else and then strike her - same problem as in 1. 3. If there were any repercussions to using disco eyes, like draining all of your aura or being completely exhausted, so she can't spam it - doesn't seem to be —

— Ruby can just pull out her op - no repercussions - power to win the fight. Cin could only stand a chance against her from now on: 1. If she's able to hit her without being seen in the first place - which won't happen as Ruby would be dead. —

— The third time was at Haven - where they both more or less ignored each other and didn't fight. Now the fourth time with Ruby just insta laser eying Cin - effectively the end of said rivalry. Why is it the end you ask? Because whenever they meet from now on, —

— The first time was in the hallways of Beacon - there wasn't a rivalry existing at this point. The second time they met on top of Beacon Tower - where the rivalry started and we still don't really know what actually happened. —

¦¦ Another thing which really bothers me about #RWBY, is the lack of - and with the latest episode end of - Cinder's and Ruby's rivalry. The two characters we're supposed to believe to have a very intense rivalry due to the events in the show, only met !4! times. —

I found it very inconsistent. She was struggling to do it merely a few episodes ago, but now she can do it on command? Immediately?

¦¦ If RWBY was actually good nowadays, I would buy it in no time, just like I did with the "Tanya the Evil" collectors edition of season 1. But oh well...guess that'll never happen 😂

— The villains will never be portrayed as actual characters and the world will never feel 'real' and organic. RWBY - a story about how to squander potential at every corner because of incompetence and convenience. —

— is to serve the heroes plot. They are used and abused, just to make team RWBY shine. RT makes them act in illogical and plainly stupid ways just to serve the plot and - again - let Ruby and friends shine. With the current writers this show will never improve. —

— On top of bad writing we also have bad world building. The world doesn't seem to realize who the f these girls are, although supposedly everyone in Remnant watched the Vytal Festival. On the other hand we have characters (especially the villains) whose only purpose —

¦¦ You know what the biggest problem of RWBY is? No, although for me personally it's the way they treat Cinder, I mean something way bigger: The world feels shallow. Everything happens and everyone exists just for one reason: To be a plot device for RWBY and crew. —

¦¦ To be fair, RT didn't surprise me with V7: They delivered more of the same convenient, illogical and predictable bad writing which was a trademark of V5 and V6. So I guess everyone who still enjoys the show can expect more of the same bs in future volumes! Rejoice!
