I think it’s become the lazy opinion to put this exit on the Phillies’ bats. This series was much different from the Dbacks and Mets failures.

For me, I think we wrongly view this as an exit akin to last season vs. the Mets. We arguably outplayed the Dodgers in every facet besides the fundamentals (which is an annoying way to lose). But we were the 2nd best team in the MLB this season and this will confirm that

Now that I’ve cooled off a bit, I think using Schwarber’s postseason performance vs. the Dodgers’ pitching as the deciding factor in re-signing him here is foolish logic.
