The #StreamDeck is a great #productivity and #automation tool that has saved me a lot of time so far. From launching window setups to replacing hard-to-learn keyboard shortcuts with visually-intuitive buttons, its plugin-based action collection offers a lot of versatility!

While looking for the best way to annotate podcasts I found @evielync's video that used @CastroPodcasts + #shortcuts. I made a shortcut based on it, with the ability to append to an existing @draftsapp + Markdown formatting. Enjoy!

The targeting algorithm in #ELDENRING keeps snapping to passive targets in the middle of battles, breaking immersion in combat. Applying more "target inertia" to the active target and not considering passive targets while targeting an aggressive enemy would help. #GameDesign

It’s interesting to see how the Spirit Ashes mechanic in #EldenRing pushed boss design further by making them able to change targets in the middle of a combo. It’s a seemingly small improvement but it really leveled up the Boss AI formula. #GameDesign #CombatDesign

Looking forward to seeing how #Overwatch2’s ping system works in practice! It’s a great step in terms of accessibility and a viable alternative for earlier competitive levels where voice chat is not as used. #GameDesign

Awesome #LevelDesign on this hotel: Big, distinctive landmarks in each area so people are able to find their rooms faster and use their relative positioning for orientation.

#Deathloop is truly a masterpiece of #LevelDesign and the appropriate next step for the Dishonored formula. @ArkaneStudios is awesome at creating deep, interconnected environments which some players didn't get to fully explore in previous games. (1/3)

#Inscryptyion is awesome! It’s an experience that you have to unpack layer by layer, taking the most unexpected turns as you go deeper. It's inspiring to see games that push the boundaries of the medium in such an effective way. If you work in #gamedev, you should give it a try!

These time-freeze puzzles in #JediFallenOrder are neat! There’s just a small issue where the camera collides with the platforms when they rotate behind the player, making it zoom in every time they do it, so it’s harder to have a clear vision of the next platform. #LevelDesign
