I met amazing people. I met terrible people. I had wins, I had loses. I lived the experience and most importantly, I learnt from the experience. This leadership journey is one I am thankful for even as the year comes to end.

The endless trips in pursuit of projects? How about the tendency to be constantly misunderstood? I can go on and on. Leadership stretched me. Leadership taught me strength and resilience. It made me rediscover myself. It made me realise. It helped me develop a thick skin.

We can also talk about the tendency to lose one’s self while tending to others. Should we discuss the lack of control over your time because anything can happen at anytime? Or the friends and relationship a leader loses because he or she is unable to keep up?

Decision Making as a case study. You, who could make decisions for yourself and not think too much about it, now becomes one who must not go wrong with decisions because of the thousands of people that it now affects.

We have always casually said “Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown” But in reality, there’s no better way to understand that sentence than to actually lead. I learnt while serving that leadership changes the course of one’s life.

I was also privileged to serve alongside @_Dr_Bush_ as the Secretary General of Great Ife Students’ Union. As one who has served in various offices before this, I did not expect this one to be as demanding as it turned out to be. A thread.

Omo 😔, eyes saw a lot & ears heard a lot as well. It's a journey worth documenting, & I'm happy & glad I served alongside these individuals as union officers. We made a lot of visible impacts all-round, and also brought a massive orientation around the activities of the union.

I served as the Public Relations Officer, Great Ife Students' Union of this administration and we did excellently well... We made sure there was a proper feedback mechanism to hearken to Students complains and concerns. God bless Dr.Bush led administration. God bless Team
