Mountains of paperwork, his coffee mug ran dry an hour ago, both temples are throbbing in a rhythm he thinks, aghast, matches some terrible song he heard once and cannot unhear… He needs a break, or more coffee. Or the catharsis of firing someone because he can.

♛ Rufus lies. A lot. Is he talking? He's probably lying. ♛ If he does speak honestly about himself on a very personal level, the confidence wavers and he appears very unsure of himself. Even fearful. He hates this and avoids it as much as possible.

♛ The Turks have been with Rufus longer than anyone else he currently knows (save his father who is dead), and he trusts them. They are the only people he truly trusts. (Very flexible hc depending on writing partners preferences.)

♛ Rufus responds to feeling upset or hurt with anger or straight up apathy laced with insult. He refuses to show weakness. ♛ Rufus is ambidextrous. ♛ He's very desensitised to violence.

♛ Rufus is garbage at expressing emotion or attachment, he's created walls of steel around himself in the guise of a cold, cruel CEO. ♛ Rufus loves his dog. Speak poorly of Darkstar and you might turn up dead. She's the only one he can easily express fondness for.

♛ Rufus overworks himself a lot. He's often exhausted. ♛ Rufus hates cigars, they remind him of his father. They bother him quite a bit and the smell alone can often leave him angry.
