🎭 Yesterday our talented Shakespeare in Schools cast travelled to Edinburgh for the world-famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Today they performed to a sell-out audience and absolutely wowed the crowd. What an incredible achievement! We are so proud of each and every one of them.

🏌️‍♂️ Year 8 student, Alfie, brought his golf clubs into school today and enjoyed a few swings with Mr Prescott, Mr Leader, and Mr Rushton to round off the day! ⛳ Great skills on show, Alfie!

This week, Y9 STEM students took part in the Mine Sweeper Competition at @OfficialUoM. They designed, built & programmed a Mine Sweeper robot, finishing in an impressive 4th place! 👏.A fantastic day of teamwork & engineering!

Yesterday, Y8 & Y9 students visited Jodrell Bank Observatory 🌌.They explored exhibits, watched an immersive planetarium film, and heard an inspiring talk from ESA astronaut & Paralympian John McFall! 🚀

Well, the weather may have been a little different to yesterday, but the rain didn’t stop our Silver and Gold Charter students from enjoying an ice cream today as part of their rewards celebrations! 🍦☔️

☀️ What a day! Yesterday, we took nearly 240 students to Blackpool Pleasure Beach for our rewards trip. 🎢.The sun finally made an appearance, and our students had an amazing time enjoying the rides and all the fun the park has to offer. 🌟

ICA Sports Day 2025

Last week, Mr. Brown led an assembly on staying safe this summer, covering water safety, e-scooters, off-road bikes & more. Thanks to @GMPSalford for joining us to speak about rail safety & share a powerful video.

Huge congratulations to Mr. Mussell, Mr. Thompson, Mr. Vonk, Miss Daley, Miss Elmer & Miss Twiddle who received their QTS recommendation certificates at Manchester Academy on Friday 👏. Thank you to Mr. Thomas for all his support this year!

This week, our Year 7 & 8 Rugby teams and Year 9 Football team were rewarded with a trip to the Trafford Centre to celebrate their hard work and success this season. The boys brought their competitive spirit to the bowling lanes before enjoying a well-deserved McDonald’s.

Students in Year 7 have been creating Munhumputapa inspired pots and vases in their Art lessons this term. Students have learned how to create the basic shape from two pinch pots and then have created coil necks.
