Wes Mendes struck out three and generated six whiffs over 29 pitches & two frames. Stuff has taken a tick up after the summer off. FB up to 96 MPH, mostly 94-95. CH velo is up to 83-84. SL also at 83-84, CB in the 75-77 range. 7/9 first-pitch strikes.

Liam Peterson made his fall debut today. @BaseballAmerica’s No. 1 college arm in ‘26 sat 97-99 with life at the top of the zone. SL and CB were reasonably sharp. CH had late fade. He added a two-seam this offseason but didn’t throw it today. Most importantly, he looks stronger.
