27/100 #100daysOfCode.Milestone unlocked 🥲 I pulled data from MY OWN API in Flask and used it in the frontend! I was having issues with connecting and searched through a lot of answers. I was on the verge of giving up but at last I did it! Can't thank @martinblore enough :)

My first hello world in Spring Boot! . Following @MarcoBehler's crash course on YouTube and been loving it so far. Excited!

I love how MOOC makes you solve so many problems that the syntax is drilled down your head 😂. Java is definitely a tough one for me due to its verbosity. So doing these exercises is definitely helpful for me before i move to spring and the backend stuff.

Must get this plastered in my brain: . Long-term achievement requires strategic slowness.

There’s so much to learn with 3d modelling. I’m getting extremely overwhelmed and my anxiety is kicking in. This happens to me with almost all my hobbies. I’ve decided to restrict myself to an hour & see how it goes. Also digital detox first as suggested by @ThisIsMaxim_ ❤️

One of the best feelings is when a video unexpectedly answers a question you weren’t even looking for. I saw some of the videos of MILG11 by @tobypitman on @Motionworks’s youtube channel. They are absolute gold mines. I am saving up to get the course even though it’s cinema4d.

There is truly something satisfying about good topology. It feels so hard to achieve thought. But I am really eager to learn it.

gazillion topology videos and mental breakdowns later, I almost modelled a bishop. It was so taxing for me to get the edge flow right for the hole in the middle. I cant seem to sharpen the edges still and the shading is not quite right. But it was a hard battle to come here.

@grantabbitt But after studying topology - edge flows, redirection, when pinching occurs - I am trying these out and trying to make myself comfortable. I am yet to find some exercises tho for practicing cuz all i see of hard surface is cars and sci fi stuff which makes me rly nervous.

exercise 8 done of the get good at blender series by @grantabbitt!. I took my time with this one. It really didn't make sense to me at first. It still doesn't at certain points. Hard surface modelling rly makes me wanna run in the opposite direction cuz it looks so daunting ⬇️

Once you start seeing the edge flows, there’s no going back. Been seeing insets for so long but only now it makes sense. I can’t wait to experiment more.

Been studying topology and edge flow since yesterday. After watching some videos on youtube, its starting to make sense. The first video which helped me to clear my basics was by @KrabWerks . The way he visualised how edge flow works with examples helped me tons!

I’m on part 8 of get good at blender series. Its hard surface modelling 🥲 . Edge flow, topology and lots of new stuff I cant seem to wrap my head around yet. Taking it slow for now.

Part 6 done of get good at blender series by @grantabbitt!. I learned so much about hard surface modelling. The lego pieces were so fun to build. I wanted to practice texturing them in substance but I couldnt UV un wrap properly :(

I am having so much fun with substance painter! Bad topo is killing my renders tho.

the moment when you press unwrap and your seams perfectly gives you a nice and perfect uv unwrap. Too satisfying. I still have some stretching but it doesn't look too bad.
