🚨HAPPENING NOW🚨 100 Palestinian and youth-led protestors are shutting down the Chicago plant for Israeli weapons manufacturer, Woodward❌
If Genocide Joe won’t
#BlockTheBombs
, WE WILL‼️
Before you read this, know that Barack Obama failed to mention that he signed a 10-year $38 billion military aid package to Israel for the years 2019-2028
To even have this as a reference point says a lot because I don't even know what movie this is.
I immediately thought of DMX when Kendrick was on his hate train. 😂😂😂
Drake thinks Julia Stiles.
It's almost as if there's a cultural disconnect there!
A white man took his own life to show y’all literally what it looks like for a US soldier to burn for his complicity in Palestinian genocide. He live-streamed it. He called it not extreme when compared to what Palestinians face.
And people are critiquing “effectiveness”…
"Got more fans in your city"😭😭😭
Kendrick Lamar mentioned this Restaurant which is located in Toronto on his song "euphoria" now the owner says he's getting rave reviews and customers are coming in a lot since the diss dropped.
This man can buy islands, yachts, private jets, land, and mansions for himself but will look at his cousin crazy for asking for $4,800😂😂😂
Greed is real 😂😂😂
Everyone should read the indictment.
It names "anarchism", "collectivism", "mutual aid", and "protecting the environment at all costs" as fundamental ideologies and practices of what they're calling "terrorism".
People who handed out flyers are indicted with RICO.
Two activists called for a ceasefire in the same Black church where Dylann Roof murdered nine people, same church co-founded by insurrectionist Denmark Vesey, and they were shouted down with cries of "Four more years!" for a US President that is currently backing genocide.
BREAKING: Activists in South Carolina just took over Biden's speech to call for a ceasefire.
"20,000 dead Palestinians; their blood is on your hands."
Biden was shaken. He's starting to understand the reality: his war on Gaza is horrifically unpopular, and people are fed up.
Video released today shows Dexter Reed shooting a cop before officers returned fire 96 times, according to COPA.
Reed was killed in the shootout. Cops pulled over Reed for not wearing a seatbelt, officials said.
WARNING GRAPHIC VIDEO:
One reason I think music journalism is dying is because people are scared to write the unpleasant.
I had a friend that wanted to do an investigative piece on the environmental impact of the biggest tours this year and she is terrified of being doxxed and harassed by stans.
I think about that Atlanta woman who lit herself on fire outside of the Israeli Consulate in protest against Palestinian genocide and how there has been no follow-up reporting.
The Biden administration is taking the first steps toward removing medical bills from people’s credit scores, which could improve ratings for millions of people
"... Jean Carlos died of sepsis due to a “widespread bacterial infection” of Group A Streptococcus pyogenes. The boy also had COVID-19, adenovirus and rhinovirus/enterovirus, according to the autopsy results. His cause of death was ruled 'natural.'"
Reminded a loved one that Bushnell’s act isn’t as disturbing as the cause of his act. Everyday we live in the 🇺🇸 as if our tax dollars aren’t killing thousands abroad and displacing millions. We distract ourselves with the mundane and inane. Protest should jolt us into care.
The military man who self-immolated wanted the world to see him burn in protest for a Free Palestine. His protest exposes the police's violent response (gun pointed at him) while he was on fire and raises a contradiction: His video won't be viral like a police shooting video.
Yesterday, in Chicago, there were Palestinians present at a police board hearing to push for the firing of the CPD officers who killed Dexter Reed, a Black man.
A lot of big news never report on solidarity and people who say solidarity doesn't exist never show up to shit.
I'm reading about boycotts in Mississippi during the 1960's.
There are cases where Black folks betrayed a boycott and patronized the targeted white business, only to be met by their community — Black boycotters — delivering a punishment.
NOW: Protestors demanding a ceasefire in Gaza repeatedly disrupt
@POTUS
's campaign event in Virginia.
As Biden campaigns on reproductive rights, he continues to give Israel bombs to drop on 50,000 pregnant women in Gaza.
A reason why burnout is prevalent is because a lot of people don't really have days off.
They use their days off of work to be productive in other tasks (more work) and as preparation for more productivity or tomorrow's work.
What's fallacious about the "Black folks have no allies" talking point is that it's usually propaganda spoken to poor Black people to prevent them from building solidarity among other oppressed peoples, while rich Black folks are never told to not build with rich white people.
I see why many Black folks didn't like the Black Panther Party because they did this exact thing.
It's completely fair to demand a Black celebrity, with their resources and visibility, to not support a genocidal occupying force or to act in solidarity with the oppressed.
It’s completely unfair to put all that weight and pressure on these celebrities, especially the black ones, when global shit pops off that’s been going on for decades and centuries, as if their words is going to put an end to it. This shit been going on and y’all said nothing.
Fred Hampton would teach political education every morning at 6 am.
A serious people.
He woke up with intention and so did those ready to receive the lesson.
New York Uber and Lyft drivers will get a historic $328 million payout in a case that state AG Letitia James says is the biggest wage-theft settlement in the history of the office.
Together both companies withheld money from over 100,000 drivers.
Marches are more than symbolic gestures.
A march can be a place to collectively grieve, a place to reconnect with lost community, a place to learn more about an issue, and a place where organizations can test solidarity in the streets.
They are also not easy to organize.
People gonna lose their shit when they find out there are communists and anarchists in the military, or that a lot of Black freedom fighters were actually ex-military, or that every US citizen is culpable in US imperialism by providing labor to pay for the military.
Shoutout to students keeping us honest and standing ten toes. This is bravery.
There are plenty of legitimate reasons and justifications beyond Palestine as to why Black men can reject President Biden speaking at their commencement.
Morehouse students grill their President on having Biden @ graduation
"There's a possibility of a genocide happening & we're seeing our government continually sending more & more weapons."
"We the students telling you we see it as 'that's being complicit!'"
Grandma: Me and your mother are gonna feed migrants next weekend.
Me: That’s good. Y’all —
Grandma: There was a meeting in Hyde Park and our people were acting like a fool. Just nonsense. There was no Jesus in the conversation. People act like they have no heart. We can share.
Most people will not like protest because protest inherently disrupts and inconveniences.
People, even some Black people, HATED MLK. There is a common myth that great social changes come by way of comfortability and lawful action.
The AME Church Council of Bishops calling for a immediate and complete withdrawal of US Government support of Israel. This is major. A very strong stance.
Black library staff at the Coleman branch helping Venezuelans obtain documents is something that probably wont get much attention in Chicago.
But I’m witnessing it right now. They’re using Google translate to communicate.
He was given the pulpit of a Black church to campaign, then days later issued airstrikes on Yemen.
He didn't practice forgiveness or take a nonviolent approach as those in that congregation had done with Dylann Roof.
"Four more years," they chanted in response to "Ceasefire!".
I love when people talk out of their ass on Twitter because Chicago always has an example.
Organizations in Chicago like IMAN, AAAN, and the SJP just prove this false, especially when you look up their solidarity with groups like the NAARPR.
Y'all not tapped in and it shows.
Chicago actually has more Ukrainian refugees than Venezuelan refugees. But the United States’ geopolitical relationship with Ukraine is vastly different than the one with Venezuela.
And you know…there’s you know…that thing.
Don't just push students to activate. YOU can do something with your big adult self. You can phone call, email, and pressure admin. You can fund students.
One of the things I hated as a student organizer is that adults with jobs and resources would wish us well and keep moving.
The assassination of Fred Hampton was a coordinated attack on the entire infrastructure of the Illinois BPP.
CPD killed Defense Captain Mark Clark. He ran the Peoria free breakfast program.
Doc Satchel was wounded too. He headed the free health clinic.
It’s always these Foreign Flag in the Bio people. Black Americans have ALWAYS been patriotic. It is good that these tethers & others are exposing themselves. When the election comes, they will be pushing Open Border Democrats on us. Watch Them Closely.
I told her she needed a pseudonym and a vpn.
But, alas.
It's pretty wild that you have to think about your safety after doing a report on entertainers.
So...
Republican governors backed Governor Abbott, sent troops to Texas, and used media to frame this situation as a potential "civil war" to push the President for tougher border enforcement...and won?
Organization. Mobilization. Media framing.

You know who the NFL got to perform after the 92 ' LA Riots?
Michael Jackson in Pasadena, California.
He performed "Black and White" and they had banners of a Black and White hand holding each other.
Entertainment is always used as sedative for angry populations. Since Rome!
the nfl and it’s owners are racist and are using black performers/a partnership with jay-z and roc nation for a social justice rebrand in the wake of colin kaepernick’s protests—it’s an intentional and integral part of their pr campaign.
Well Elmo,
Some Chicago highschool students are walking out of class tomorrow in support of a ceasefire resolution. I'm thinking about this after I watched a clip of Nancy Pelosi calling for the FBI to investigate the financing of Pro-Palestinian protests.
It's a lot, Elmo.
There isn't a grocery store on King Drive south of 39th Street.
You can drive south on King Drive, from that Mariano's off of Pershing, and not see another grocery store.
Get mad about that.
He's from Venezuela and didn't survive the Chicago winter. Fucking politicians had him in this cold-ass climate, in an abandoned warehouse where he can be exposed to any and everything.
This idiotic country removed COVID protections and doesn't have free healthcare.
Similar to R. Kelly a couple years ago, what I noticed about this Diddy situation is the silence of his friends, his industry colleagues, and the people who would sing his praises a year ago, from artists to executives.
The Chicago referendum on increasing the real estate transfer tax on properties over $1 million AKA Bring Chicago Home failed, with 54% No votes. The referendum failed in high-income and Latino wards, and passed in liberal white and Black wards.

I've been reading Audre Lorde's "A Burst of Light" and realized that quotes like this one are often decontextualized and cherry-picked by liberals not aligned with her ideology and goals.
It can be treated as a call to individualism when Lorde was a socialist fighting cancer.
“Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.”
Happy Birthday to Audre Lorde, born this day in 1934 ✨️✨️✨️

"By the summer of 1967, Mississippi law enforcement surveillance revealed that the Black economic boycott in Hattiesburg was 100 percent effective."
".... [W]e would harass people.... And this was our job." — James Nix, Hattiesburg organizer
@diaryofleee
The only Julia Stiles movies I've watched are the ones where she was with Black men 😂😂😂.... "O" and "Saved The Last Dance".
I'll watch it if you're recommending. 😂
What's important to note here is that this is an example of law enforcement attempting to manufacture consent from the public to call for more aggression against the accused. This a very poor attempt to do so, but people should think about instances when it was successful.
I asked Illinois Sen.
@TammyDuckworth
at a news conference today in Pilsen if she’s willing to call for a ceasefire.
“I am not willing to call for a ceasefire at this point because that would not help the residents of Gaza nor would it help the security of Israel,” she said.
Do y'all remember when social media influencers and right-leaning politicians said The Purge was coming to Chicago after the abolition of the cash bail system?
@Jessnj4554
People should know what he did as President and his opinion here is pretty on par with his actions to fund billions to the Israeli military.
BREAKING: A group of Stop Cop City activists have broken onto the training center site to attempt to halt construction work.
They are calling this “The People’s Injunction”
NOW: Dueling protests
@UChicago
between those supporting Israel and those supporting Palestine. University police have lined the quad in riot gear separating the two. There are hundreds if not a thousand. These are students, and members of other organizations who’ve protested.
We saw live news stations play videos of the killings of Laquan McDonald, George Floyd, and so many others.
Will they roll the footage of a white US Soldier who wanted to be seen self-harming himself while shouting "Free Palestine"?
If not, why? Think about the why.
My grandpa passed today. I've been looking for the video I recorded of him explaining how he used to pick cotton in Arkansas. That history is important.
Chicago, cash bail is eliminated and a lot of people are going to be upset that a lot of Black men won't be jailed — with a price — as they wait on their due process.
I'm just letting you know what energy you may get from others today.
