Let Flacco navigate through the early schedule. See where you are Monday of Week 7 and make the necessary adjustments if-needed. Who knows, maybe an injury forced one of the kids in there early. Bottom line is: they’ll play in ‘25. Non red to force it barring an elite preseason.

It would be malpractice to start a Day 2 or 3 Rookie Week 1, staring down those first 6 games. Week 7 through 15 (in theory) is a much more reasonable schedule for a rookie to face, along with the bye give to them a breather. #DawgPound

Really isn’t a whole lot at High A Lake County either…Yorman and Delucia were promoted to AA already. Jackson Humphries seems interesting. Tugboat has had a poor season.

Franco Aleman, Doug Nikhazy, Trevor Stephan, Ryan Webb and Austin Peterson have really struggled @ AAA. Wouldn’t give up on them altogether by any means but I am for 2025 purposes.

The #Guardians lack of pitching depth at the top of the minors (AAA / AA) is staggering. There is absolutely noone else ready @ AAA other than Parker Messick. At AA, Yorman Gomez only just got to Akron. Rodney Boone is hurt. Dylan Delucia might be the only other interesting arm.

Sometimes you can tell early on when things just aren’t gonna go your way . Today is one of those days. On the road, it’s hot; coming off double header; facing a really good young LHP. Low energy.
