I said this literally before #Smackdown started.

This is from a user on Reddit sharing what they did to unlock all of the Season 1 DLC for #WWE2K26 and it’s ridiculous. Before all we had to do was pay for the Season Pass and be given the DLC as it came out. Now, it’s a tedious grind used to make you buy tier skips.

It seems to mean these guys that run 2K just try and invent new ways to take money from you and gamers let them get away with it and make up excuses for it. It’s so stupid to not expect and want better for this industry that has become greedier than ever before.

I will never understand why some gamers allow themselves to be a doormat for greedy companies. @2Kgames now using DLC in #WWE2K26 that you once just paid and were immediately given that they now use as a means to entice you to spend even more money via tier skips is so greedy.

It is so hilarious seeing people over on the WWE Games Reddit upset over the grind just to unlock DLC they paid for. How many of us tried to tell you this shit would happen? We warned you time and time again and you guy didn’t listen. #WWE2K26

All these new DLC wrestlers announced for #WWE2K26 are great til you remember and realize that you don’t just get them but you gotta grind just to unlock them.

How exactly does 2K get away with not revealing their DLC packs until the game comes out or even just a few days before? Wouldn’t everyone want to know exactly what they are pre-ordering? Pretty sure Steam has a policy against this very sort of practice.

I can’t stand it when you’re trying to get a review code for a game and these guys have to understand that time is views and you want to get eyes on a new game to your audience on the day it releases and the games press agency tells you to wait a week after it releases.

If @asha_shar wants to make a huge but impactful change at #Xbox she could make it so that playing online is free. No other console allows simply free online play and if she does that it would be a huge first step in turning the direction around for Xbox.

I’m curious why Xbox or Microsoft didn’t put out this video or make a similar one to formally do a transition from Phil to Asha instead of everyone finding out via a blog post and news articles. You’d think they’d want better optics here.
