It's an immense amount of work to compose for orchestra, (especially with little training) but I feel like I've just crossed the summit of the mountain&I'm on the home straight now💟. The new piece,"Saol, Searc is Suantraí_Life, Love & Lullabies"will be premiered on Sept 11th. .

So happy to make an amazing Oslo Philharmonic concert for our last night in Norway 💜.It was an open air free concert in the Palace Square and there were thousands of happy, smiley people there taking in the stunning orchestra, conductor, soloist & sunset . #orchestra

One of my students brought his hardanger to the class today and it was so beautiful!!! This Norwegian instrument has resonant strings that go under the fingerboard and through the bridge which kindof amplify what you play on it. So special to play it! 💜 .#fiddle #hardanger
