Our recently published paper on #COVID19 #VaccinationCoverage comparing people with and without #disability. Despite being prioritised in the rollout we found no evidence of higher vaccination for #PeopleWithDisability leaving many people at high risk @Kavanagh_AM @DisabilityHlth.
No difference in #COVID19 #VaccinationCoverage between #peoplewithdisability and the general population in early stages of #VaxRollout left many at high risk of serious disease/death: @ZoeAitken11 @KavanaghAM @WileyHealth.

Our paper showed that barriers to participation (e.g. employment, transport) explained a substantial proportion of the #HealthInequalities experienced by people with #disability. Addressing these barriers could lead to improvements in health and well-being & promote #HealthEquity.
New research! This study highlights factors causing health inequalities for people with disability could be targeted by public health interventions and lead to improvements in health and wellbeing @ZoeAitken11 @bishop_glenda @gdisney_melb @Kavanagh_AM .

At #PopCongress2022 @JenLErvinโs fantastic research showing that unpaid labour negatively impacts the mental health of women. Inequity in the division of unpaid labour exposes women to greater risk of poorer mental health than men @TaniaLKing @LudmiFleitasA @ytaouk @unimelbMSPGH

Fantastic presentation at #PopCongress2022, @LudmiFleitasAโs systematic review found that young informal carers report poorer mental health compared to their peers. More causally-focused research is needed to better understand the association @TaniaLKing @JenLErvin @unimelbMSPGH
