Our recently published paper on #COVID19 #VaccinationCoverage comparing people with and without #disability. Despite being prioritised in the rollout we found no evidence of higher vaccination for #PeopleWithDisability leaving many people at high risk @Kavanagh_AM @DisabilityHlth.

Our paper showed that barriers to participation (e.g. employment, transport) explained a substantial proportion of the #HealthInequalities experienced by people with #disability. Addressing these barriers could lead to improvements in health and well-being & promote #HealthEquity.

At #PopCongress2022 @JenLErvinโ€™s fantastic research showing that unpaid labour negatively impacts the mental health of women. Inequity in the division of unpaid labour exposes women to greater risk of poorer mental health than men @TaniaLKing @LudmiFleitasA @ytaouk @unimelbMSPGH

Fantastic presentation at #PopCongress2022, @LudmiFleitasAโ€™s systematic review found that young informal carers report poorer mental health compared to their peers. More causally-focused research is needed to better understand the association @TaniaLKing @JenLErvin @unimelbMSPGH
