Fire is actually really fun to draw for me cuz you can just kinda do whatever you want and the only rule is that the hotter areas (so like the source) will have the lighter colors and the further out you go the darker the colors get ! Thats my advice :).

My painting process with the image I used to block out the shape of the fire, and the older piece next to the new one :) yaaay!

What can I say… the character really connected with me on a freshly humanizing level, more than I’ve seen in many actually human or “more mature and respectable!!!” characters/stories….
