We've been handwashing dishes for over a year since the machine broke down, MissSEA got a fully functional (newer!) machine off marketplace for $20! Saving at least an hour a day. I'm mad grateful. Although dishes were my ideation time 😅 - will have to have more baths instead.

My ADHD does this, I go through phases where I fixate on a game for a bit then don't touch it for a year.

Although I prefer indie games on the whole, I do play some corpo stuff. This holidays has been full of battlefield 6 and diablo 4 (I feel the latter is almost at the level of fun that I had with d3).

This year, I want to continue my experiment of making short sweet lil vids for indie games. Especially local devs. I'd also like to work on making my own lil game before I head back in to studies in Feb.

it's notion for me btw, specifically the relational databases. I have one for games coverage, which links to developers, which leads to publishers/strat/keysites. I'm a big fan of FOSS but the closest thing I've found is affine, which doesn't have relational databases.

Do you ever get software that every now and then you just go "gosh, this is a game-changer for my flow" and then worry about the fact that nothing else comes close? I really wish capitalism involved more competition and less buying out the competition.
