👇 This is just out in Genes Dev (DOI: 10.1101/gad.351667.124). Worthwhile to note that the human telomere SUMO-Repair team resembles those in yeasts; checkout a recent review by Gasser and Stutz discussing SUMO-Repair and their roles in telomeres (DOI: 10.1002/1873-3468.14751).
SUMO powers "repair gathering" in the nucleus to get ALT going when PML goes missing 🍻. Congrats to @lab_zhang @rongweiz 👏, Glad to help 🙂.
