Replies yesterday got me wondering 🤔 . For the next game in a series you love (if you had to choose), would you rather:. Have a game announced way before launch (even if it’s still 5+ years away). Or. Not know and wait until the game is near launch to announce it?.

Now that Silksong is dated, once Metroid Prime 4 has a confirmed date - is there even another game people are constantly asking for a release date? . I can’t think of any even near the hype of Silksong or MP4.

Update: I bought DK Bonanza and he damn near 100%ed it in like a few days last week and I’ve barely played it, so 🤷🏻♂️
I’ll be honest, part of me as a parent of an emerging gamer has mixed feelings about the advent of VR gaming. My son has not been as interested in console gaming, which on one hand is great - he comes down sweating after playing. But, we don’t share as much common interest. 🤷🏻♂️.

Watched a video this morning while drinking my wake up juice and of the 43 available retail Switch 2 game offerings, 30 of them are digital key card/paper codes. Only 30% of the library so far use the actual carts. If you care about physical media, this is sad.

I remember being excited that it was Friday night so I could finally go get out of the house. Now I’m old, out doing stuff every Friday night and just wish I could be home gaming. C’est la vive.

Uncharted 2 is my Goldilocks transition game. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 left me a little gobsmacked, I tried DK Bonanza and it’s GREAT, but it was a little too far of a swing from XC2-DKB for me mentally/emotionally. UC2 is doing awesome. It’s the right amount of fun & serious.
