Whew! @anthrocon was its usual amazing thing: the parade,block party, & over 18k fuzzbutts! Huge thanks,as always, to the staff & volunteers, who work so hard so we can have so much fun. ALSO a huge thank you to the city of Pittsburgh & its residents,who make us feel so welcomed!

It’s so good to be back in the ‘Burgh! .“Visit Pittsburgh”, BTW, is their visitor and tourism bureau. And we’re on it!.Also, even though I’m staying at the AC Hotel, when I walked in the Westin the doorman immediately recognized me, and called out my name. OUT OF SUIT. :O

Hey everybody! Today is World Giraffe Day! The longest day (or longest night) of the year is a good day to celebrate the tallest land mammal! Giraffe numbers in the wild are decreasing, & today’s the day to raise awareness of these gentle, curious creatures!(not that I’m biased!)
